Description
The logo that I created for my Jack the Rapper project at uni. It started as a series of drawing investigating the style that it represented.
First theres the Jack the 'Ripper' element, which I incorporated in a swirly style that represented the times when Jack the 'Ripper' was actively killing people, which brings me to the blade effect which I've also incorporated.
Then theres the hiphop element which the Jack the Rapper Convention is all about. I incorporated this by the use of the microphone and 'jack' which formed the swirly pattern and the running paint effect which represents grafitti which plays a large part in hiphop culture.
